The Great Dam Duck Drop – Another Example of the Heart of Lake of the Ozarks Community
The Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Center is proud that the lake area is known for having a tradition of investing in the local community and working to make a positive difference in the lives of the people who live here. There are so many volunteer and donation based events that provide resources to families and individuals in our community who are most in need. The Great Dam Duck Drop is a wonderful example of that kind of community spirit in action. The Great Dam Duck Drop is a two-day annual event starting with the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Tournament on Friday, August 6 th , and the Family Fun Zone and Official Duck Drop on Saturday, August 7 th . The entire event is to raise proceeds for Ozark Coast Kiwanis which supports local children’s charities and organizations.
