Economic development can entail a lot of different things. From creating opportunities for more housing at the lake, to increasing quality of life attributes like the Magic Dragon Trails project, to finding the resources small businesses need to reach their target markets and thrive, all are part of economic development. At LOREDC, we exist to offer a cohesive way to promote the Lake of the Ozarks area and all that has the offer. Whether you are a retired business executive who wants to help create opportunity, or a biking enthusiast helping to build a trail, you are part of the team when it comes to promoting economic development at Lake of the Ozarks. We believe that the more perspectives we have as we do our work, the more effective it will be in helping everyone in the community, and not just a few. So, this blog is dedicated to all the ways people can get involved with LOREDC and contribute to this wonderful community that we know and love.

At LOREDC we are always excited to meet new people and welcome new members to our organization. Being a member helps show support for economic development in the community. It also allows businesses to stay informed on trends, programs, studies and anything related to economic development in the community.
Attend our Monthly Meetings.
Our meetings are on the third Thursday of every month and will rotate between the three counties that we serve, Camden, Morgan, and Miller. The best way to stay in the know about the topics and locations is to sign up for email updates at https://loredc.com. We will have a guest speaker for each of our meetings and reports from our committees with updates on progress and activities.

Our member investors help us be successful in accomplishing our priorities at LOREDC . We would not exist without the dedication of our members and their contribution of time and financial support. Our investors make it possible for us to support and facilitate programs to enhance our regional housing efforts, address our workforce challenges, promote business expansion, and move our organizational and regional marketing efforts to the next level. Attend our Annual Meeting
Each year in January, we have our annual breakfast to give an overview of what we have been working on and what we’ve accomplished in the past year. We also have the opportunity to honor some outstanding individuals and businesses in the area with our annual awards. We invite you to join us on January 12, 2023 for this year‘s annual meeting.
