Transportation at the Lake of the Ozarks

Centrally located in the heart of the Midwest, Lake of the Ozarks is an ideal location for industry, manufacturing, retail, entrepreneurial endeavors, tourism and retirement.  The diverse area has an excellent business environment with a focus on economic development at the Lake of the Ozarks. Lake of the Ozarks Major Roads


Highway 52 runs along the North side of the Lake of the Ozarks traveling from Versailles to Eldon. It also connects to Highway 65 West of the Lake area.  Highway 54 runs along the East side of the Lake of the Ozarks traveling from Eldon to Camdenton, while also passing through Jefferson City and connects with Interstate 70 North of the Lake area.  Highway 5 runs along the West side of the Lake of the Ozarks traveling from Versailles to Camdenton.  It also connects with Interstate 70 and Highway 50 North of the Lake area and with I-44 South of the Lake area.



Missouri and Local Airports


The Lake of the Ozarks area has 5 airports: Camdenton Memorial Airport, Eldon Airport, Kaiser - Lee C. Fine Memorial Airport, Osage Beach - Grand Glaize Airport and Versailles - Roy Otten Memorial Airport. In addition to these local airports, Missouri has many other major airports that allow for easy transportation to and from the Lake of the Ozarks areas.  



Missouri Railroads, Buses and Taxis


Although we don't have any railroads running directly through the Lake of the Ozarks, there is a train station in Jefferson City, just 45 minutes from the Lake area.  Several local bus and taxi companies expand the areas of transportation offered at the Lake of the Ozarks.



With so many different modes of transportation, getting to and from the Lake of the Ozarks is a breeze.
