The Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop is This Weekend!

The Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Council is so excited that our business community continues to prosper. Many local businesses are sponsoring a great community event that is taking place this weekend! LOREDC is excited to spread the word about the upcoming Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop this weekend, in this month's blog. We are Your Liaison to the Lake of the Ozarks Community.

Event Details:

This is a family-friendly event! Festivities will include a family fun zone with games, dunking booth, bounce houses, martial arts and dance demonstrations, food, and lots of prizes and goodies!

Please note that FUN ZONE WRIST BANDS are FREE and include all Fun Zone events, games, and prizes. You can purchase Duck Drop tickets at the Fun Zone until 11:00AM  and it's $5 each for your chance to win $5000 (plus 10 other GREAT prizes!)

Event Schedule:

  • 11:45 AM Saturday - Head from the Fun Zone over to the campground area river access to watch the ducks drop from the helicopter and boats into the Osage River.
  • NOON Saturday - The helicopter will arrive and the ducks will fly! Let the race begin! The first duck to cross the finish line wins $5,000! 10 additional ducks will win prizes too!
  • 12:30 - 1:00 Saturday - Head back to the Fun Zone and enjoy more games while we await the winners! Winners will be announced at the Fun Zone by 1:00. You do not need to be present to win!

Charitable Donations:

All funds raised remain local & are distributed to non-profit organizations via the Ozark Coast Kiwanis Organization
